Getting Around LBL
Shuttles
Shuttles are provided to take you throughout the lab or off-site (commute.lbl.gov for routes and schedules)
Schedules and routes are subject to change based on construction
Make sure you have your badge to utilize these shuttles
The lab has a dedicated LBNL shuttle system that runs in and out of the main site that is free to you to use. The routes and schedules of these shuttles can be found through commute.lbl.gov.
Personal Vehicles and Bicycles (Main Site Only)
Speed limit is 15 mph
Watch for pedestrians or wildlife that are crossing
Share the road with bicyclists
Bicyclists must wear a helmet when riding on-site
To park, you will need a parking permit
If you haven’t already, speak with your supervisor about obtaining one
